    Hi All,

     

    A customer has a device which required particular Wi-Fi settings detailed in a manual. What are your thoughts on their recommended settings and how/if they would impact a network?

     

    Section 3.4. Document link.

    What settings are you talking about in the 212 page manual?

    I don't have any opinion.  It is what the manufacturer suggests.  The customer will have to balance the needs of this device with the needs of other devices on the network.

    For the most part it seems to be suggesting default settings, with 20MHz width and only non-dfs channels.

    Seems to be a pretty low end sort of device that will likely bring all sorts of problems.
