When changing the password for a Wi-Fi network via the GUI, you may continue to connect with the old password due to caching on their devices, incorrect password updates, network roaming between access points with different configurations, MAC address whitelisting, DNS cache issues, or device-specific limitations.
To resolve this, you should clear cached Wi-Fi networks on client devices, reboot the router or access point, update firmware, ensure consistent network configurations, and, if applicable, update MAC address whitelists. If the problem persists on specific devices, contacting the device manufacturer's support or forums for device-specific troubleshooting may be necessary.
