    Dear,

I have an issue with wireless Lan standalone VMC 8.10.8 deploiement.

I created an SSID and i am able to connect and get an ip address successfully, but when i try to ping or access any thing in the network it does not work correctly even if every thing is allowed (authenticated role)

The issue is that sometimes it work for few secondes Sometimes it doesn't, somtimes it works for some devices but it does not for others.

When i ping ressources from the controller with the user Vlan or when i enable source nat  everything works fine.

Could you please hello me to résolve this issue ?

    Best regards

Please make sure that (if running ESXi) promiscious mode and forged transmits are enabled. Problem sounds related to that without knowing further details. Other hypervisors than ESXi may have similar things that need to be configured.

Did you follow this guide, and the troubleshooting steps?

Your Aruba partner or Aruba TAC should be able to interactively troubleshoot your issue as well...

I'd recommend contacting the partner you went through for the purchase, your local Aruba SE, or opening a case with TAC for troubleshooting.  There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to a VMC installation and attempting to identify what is going on via this forum will be challenge.

From your initial description the problem seems to be with traffic handling which could be a misconfiguration of the port group or a LAG/Team configuration on the vSwitch that isn't correct.  Make sure you are only enabling one interface on the VM and that the network adapter maps to the GE0/0/0 on the VMC.

    Hi there.

    • If you config your ssid in tunnel mode then try to change to bridge mode.
    • or you can check the Controller interface (in GUI) was tick with trust
