How the ClearPass Policy Manager(AAA) license is calculated in a cluster?

 

 



A:

The ClearPass publisher receives device details from all the subscribers and eliminates duplicates as a part of the license computation process. This avoids counting multiple times for unique devices.

So, a unique client - authenticating against all the nodes in the cluster, will utilize single AAA/policy manager license across the cluster.
