Requirement:

Run Memory Test on a CPPM VM appliance

There may be cases where CPPM server suddenly became unresponsive and we need to run a memory test for CPPM VM appliances to identify if it is a hardware issue. 

Note that we should to run the Memory test during a maintenence window, as it may take time to complete the process.

To start the Memory test, restart the CPPM VM appliance and interrupt the boot. It will display the following GRUB menu.

As soon the memtest process is started:

When we see Pass complete, we can press escape. It will quit the memtest interface and continue to boot from the active partition. Else, it will continue with Memtest for various memory segments until it completes whole memory block.
