Shared Key Authentication

Dec 24, 2014 08:30 AM

Shared Key Authentication - The more complex of the two 802.11 authentication methods. This uses WEP to authenticate client stations and requires that a static WEP key be configured on both the station and the access point. In addition to WEP being mandatory, authentication will not work if the static WEP keys do not match.
