Re: Intermittent "Web authentication is disabled" message

I'm getting this as well in 6.1.0.0

Workaround for me is to delete client from aaa:

(aruba-master) #aaa del user name

Seems to happen especially if someone logs in on two devices with same username

Re: Intermittent "Web authentication is disabled" message

I'm surprised and disappointed that Aruba has not resolved this problem yet, since its clearly a bug in the software and a known issue. This problem has been apparent since 6.0.0.0 which was released a while ago.

Suggestions that I received when I contacted Aruba TAC were to downgrade to 5 (not an option) or upgrade to the latest code which is suppose to fix some of the causes of the problem, not all. Still waiting for complete fix.

Re: Intermittent "Web authentication is disabled" message

There are a number of causes why the issue occurs and not all of them have been fixed. It happens intermittently and it is not easy to replicate, as a result. If you encounter it, please save the logs.tar and open a case so that we can get to the bottom of it.
