Automate user password change

    I am looking to automate a password change on a user stored internally on a mobility controller, and have the new password mailed out.

     

    This user would just be used for captive portal authentication.

     

    I would prefer not to use RADIUS as it will only be for one user. I have Airwave as well if that is needed to send the config change to the mobility controller.

     

    Is this possible?

    The ArubaOS 8 API is very powerful, although I haven't used it for managing the internal user database. Combined with Python you'll probably be able to achieve what your trying using the /object/userdb_add POST call.
