    Hello all ,

We could see there is multiple AP deployed by 2 different controller in same location , whereas one network is Aruba and other network is different vendor and we could see most of this other network AP's shows as suspected Rogue . I would like to know when if two different AP deployed by different controller is placed around same area , will they have interference or the APs will manage to change by itself there channel to avoid this ?

If the AP is an Aruba AP and managed by Aruba controllers which are part of the same management construct (e.g Master/Local) then the WDS information will be shared and the AP will be seen as valid and channel changes will be made accordingly. If the AP is connected to another Aruba controller which is not part of the same management construct (eg Standalone) or a different vendor then it will show as Rogue. The Aruba controller will look for a suitable channel if required and change accordingly.

Just a note, you can mark SSID's which are part of your network but are not hosted on the Controller as "Valid".

    Thanks for the response .

So it means there will be no interference with our Aruba AP , even if there are other APs around as the Aruba controller will keep on changing the channel ?

There will always be interference, whether from your own Aruba AP or an AP which is not part of your infrastructure. ARM/AirMatch will attempt to move an AP to a different channel should there be sufficient enough interference.
