Campus and Remote-AP limitations on 600 series controllers with respect to Pre and Post ArubaOS 6.2.

Question   Campus and Remote-AP limitations on 600 series controllers with respect to Pre and Post ArubaOS 6.2.
Environment   This article applies to Aruba 600 Series Mobility Controllers running pre ArubaOS 6.2 and Post ArubaOS 6.2 codes.

 

Mentioned below are the relavent platform limits for Campus APs (CAP) and Remote APs (RAP) before and after ArubaOS 6.2:

Due to the memory constraints, staring with AOS 6.2 the Remote AP (RAP) limits on the 6xx series will be the same as the Campus AP (CAP) limits.

NOTE:  Support for the built in AP in the Aruba 651 Controller is dropped staring with AOS 6.2. All controller functions on the 651 platform will work as Aruba 650 controller except the built in AP functionality.
