Can one manage branch office controllers from 3000 and M3 series of Aruba Mobility Controllers?

Is it possible to manage branch office controllers from 3000 and M3 series of Aruba Mobility Controllers?



A:

Only the 7200 series controllers can adopt, configure and manage the 7000 series branch controller. The 3000 series or M3 series cannot adopt, configure and manage the 7000 series branch controller.

In ArubaOS release 6.4.3, Aruba has introduced the Smart Config Menu. This menu is ONLY available in the 72xx series controller and is only GUI based, for now.
