Jul 01, 2014 07:37 PM

Product and Software: This article applies to indoor Access Point 6x series and 70 series.

SPoE2 cable is used to console into a Cisco 1200 series or Cisco 1100 series AP connected directly to the Aruba controller, while we SoE into the Aruba controller.

SPoE3 cable (popularly called the "Y" jack or split adapter) is used to console into the AP, while the power source of the AP is a PoE switch.

SPoE4 cable is used to console into the AP, while the source of power for the AP is a midspan PoE injector.
