Question: Does AP-175P support lower power 802.3af?

Aruba does not recommend this, AP-175 is an outdoor unit which includes a heater for cold start if the temp is too low; so if an AP-175 can operate either from standard 802.3af power-over-Ethernet (PoE) sources if it can be guaranteed that the heater functionality is never needed at boot up time.

For guaranteed operation over the full temperature range, an 802.3at power-over-Ethernet (PoE+) source is needed.
