Controller Based WLANs

Product and Software: This article applies to Aruba AP-175 and ArubaOS 5.0.2.1 and later.

The minimum code that AP-175 supports is ArubaOS 5.0.2.1.

AP-175 works only with ArubaOS 5.0.2.1 and later.

From the release notes of ArubaOS 5.0.2.1:

"This patch introduces support for the Aruba AP-175. The Aruba AP-175 is a resilient, environmentally hardened, outdoor rated, dual-radio, dual-band IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless access point. This outdoor access point is part of Aruba's comprehensive wireless network solution. The AP-175 works only in conjunction with an Aruba controller and each AP can be centrally managed, configured, and upgraded through the controller."
