Question:How the licensing information are exchanged between the controllers, in centralized licensing feature in 6.3 ?
Heartbeat messages will be exchanged between the license server and license client that will carry the licensing information. The license clients will send the sum total of all installed licenses to the license server. The license server will add all the license counts received from the clients. It will then send the total to the clients in response to the heartbeat.
The license heartbeat is sent using PAPI.
Heartbeats are exchanged between the server and the clients on every 30sec.
