How to collect tech-support logs from the 8.x controller?



A:

There is a small change in 8.x controller to collect the logs in WebUi and collecting the logs through CLI is same for 8.x controller and pre-8.x controller:

 

8.x MM controller webUi:

 

 

Navigation: Select MM >> click Diagnostics >> click Technical support >> click Copy Logs >> click Download logs button >> "Include technical support information"  should be checked>> click Apply button.

 

8.x MM controller CLI:

(ArubaMM) [mynode] #tar logs tech-support

(ArubaMM) [mynode] #copy flash: logs.tar tftp: <TFTP server IP> logs.tar

 

Pre-8.X controller WebUI:

 

 

Navigation: Click Maintenance >> Copy logs >> Download logs >> "Include technical support information" should be checked >> click Apply button.

 

Pre-8.X controller CLI:

 

(Aruba)#tar logs tech-support

(Aruba) #copy flash: logs.tar tftp: <TFTP server IP> logs.tar
