Q:

Mobility Master CLI prompt shows an '^' sign constantly . What does it mean and how to get rid of it ?

A:

The '^' at the CLI prompt means there is configuration that is not committed yet. This 'uncommitted' or 'pending' config could be under any config node path.

The command "show configuration unsaved-nodes" will show the node path that has unsaved config.

(MM) ^[mynode] #show configuration unsaved-nodes

List of unsaved configuration nodes
-----------------------------------
Nodename
--------
/md/Bangalore/00:0B:86:B5:CD:A7
/md/Chennai/00:0B:86:B5:F3:77

Go to that node and do a 'write mem'. The '^' should now go away.

(MM) ^[mynode] #cd /md/Bangalore/00:0B:86:B5:CD:A7
(MM) ^[00:0b:86:b5:cd:a7] #write memory
