RTP acl requirement

Nov 17, 2014 05:28 PM

Question: Do we need to explicitly allow RTP in user role if the Voip Phone protocol is supportted under ALG

RTP traffic should be taken care of by the ALG. There is no need to add an ACL specifically for allowing RTP traffic.
We need to make sure to have the related voice acls to be allowed in the user role and firewall on the controller for respective protocol is enabled.

The following VOIP protocols will be supported:

    SIP
    H323
    SCCP
    NOE
