Question : What can we do when the visualrf planner tool is not getting saved in .exe format when downloaded using IE

Environment Information : Visualrf Planner tool 7.7

Window 7,8

Internet explorer

Symptoms : When we download visualrf planner tool using IE , it wont be saved in .exe format. When we try to change the format manually, it will give us an error "File already opened in IE cannot make the change"

Resolution : As a resolution we can follow the below steps while downloading the file using IE..

• Initiate the download using IE
• "Save as"  the file with file type as "All files"
• Then rename the file to .exe format after download.
