What does the following error message mean: ("KERNEL(2nd Floor SE@10.1.9.193): vap_device_event: dev aruba000 (0:0) is down")?

Jul 10, 2014 10:05 AM

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba APs and ArubaOS 3.x.

These are kernel messages coming from the AP. These are "normal" and should not cause any noticeable disruptions. Currently you cannot use the CLI to control the kernel logging level. Basically, these messages will show up when the APs change channel or power-based ARM algorithum. They can be ignored.
