Why RAP with custom certificate on the USB, does not come up on FIPS controller if the PKCS#12 passphrase is less than 6 characters

Environment : This is tested on Aruba 7220 controller running 6.3.1.9 FIPS and RAP-3WN using custom certificate on USB

 

For RAP with custom certificate on the USB, the PKCS#12 passphrase must be greater than or equal to 6 characters for FIPS code.

If the passphrase is less than 6 characters RAP would not take this parameter and show "RC_ERROR_IKEP2_PKT1 "
