Question:  How do I enable Telnet access to an Aruba Instant APs?

 

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba Instant platforms and versions.

 

To enable Telnet access to an Aruba Instant APs, follow these steps:

From WebUI

1) Click the Settings option on the top right corner of the screen.

2) Click the Advanced Tab.

3) Enable Terminal Access.

4) Click OK to save settings.

From CLI

d8:c7:c8:c9:95:11# config terminal

d8:c7:c8:c9:95:11 (config) # terminal-access

d8:c7:c8:c9:95:11 (config) # exit

Then use Windows CLI or a terminal emulator program (putty) and use port 23 for Telnet access to the Instant AP.
