How do we define the redirection URL for the internal captive portal users in Aruba Instant Aps?

This article explains the steps to define the redirection URL/Welcome Page for the captive portal users in IAPs. This is a new feature introduced in OS version 6.1.3.4-3.1.x.x.

 

With OS version 6.1.3.4-3.1, we can now customize the welcome page or the redirection URL for the captive portal users.

 

 

Environment : This article applies to all the IAPs running a minimum OS version of 6.1.3.4-3.1.x.x.

 

 

  1. Create a new “guest” wireless SSID and navigate to “Security” tab.
  2. Enter the URL in the redirection URL as shown below:
