How do we disable an SSID on Aruba Instant APs?

This article explains the steps to enable/disable an SSID on IAPs. This is a new feature added in IAP OS version 6.2.1.0-3.3.0.0. Prior to this code, we did not had any option of disabling the SSID. We could only delete or hide the SSID.

 

This article applies to all the IAPs running a minimum OS version of 6.2.1.0-3.3.0.0.

 

 

Environment : All the sample outputs and screenshots in this article are tested on IAP 135 running on 6.2.1.0-3.3.0.0.

 

1. Create a new SSID
2. Click on "show advance option".
3.Check/Uncheck "Disable SSID" option.
