How does Instant AP Master election conflict resolution algorithm work?

If there are more than one master in a subnet, below master election algorithm kicks in to elect one master from the existing masters.
Below parameters are checked to resolve deadlock

  • IAP with Non-default IP addr(Non-169.x.x.x) takes priority
  • IAP with 3G dongle connected gets higher priority
  • IAP platform checked, AP135 gets priority
  • IAP with higher uptime
  • If still an unique IAP could not be selected, IAP with a bigger MAC address is chosen
