IAP Master Election process with 3G/4G uplink

Jul 04, 2014 06:13 AM

Master election beacon have a flag which can contain 3G/4G present info.

When a IAP receive master election beacon from another IAP, it compare if both of them have 3G/4G card present, or one of them have one of them have 3G/4G present, or none of them have 3G/4G card plugin.

a)            If both of them have 3G/4G present, they fairly compete for master.
b)            If only itself have 3G/4G plugin, itself win the master.
c)            If only opposite side have 3G/4G plugin, itself lost in the master election.
d)            If none of them have 3G/4G present, like a), they fairly compete for master.
