Is there a limit on number of entries on IAP when web classification and reputation is configured?

Nov 17, 2014 05:46 PM

Question: Is there a limit on number of entries on IAP when web classification and reputation is configured?

Environment: This article applies to Aruba Instant Access Points running InstantOS 4.1

When web classification and reputation is configured, Instant AP will reach the "Brightcloud" service on the web to classify the websites that are being accessed by the client stations.

This database of web classification of various websites is cached temporarily and been looked into when a new user access the websites. Maximum entries that are cached is limited to 100k entries. This is to make sure that IAP would not take a toll on performance.
