Controller-less WLANs

Requirement:

To provide guest login access only to create/delete internal guest accounts or to periodically check network status in the UI.

Starting Instant version 4.0, network administrator can create a guest login account to have someone manage internal guest accounts, or to check the network status in the UI without having to provide them full access to the IAP cluster.

Following are the additional user accounts with different UI privileges,

Guest Registration only - can view, modify, and delete internal guest user accounts.

View only - can view all network settings but not modify any of them or perform any maintenance operation such as upgrade or reboot.

Executing “show mgmt-user” on Master will display the Admin/Read-Only/Guest-Mgmt user's configuration.

Executing "show user portal” on Master will display the current Guest users configured by Guest-Mgmt management user.

And “show summary” will display the statistics of Guest users.
