Does IAP support https for BrightCloud (cloud DPI) query for client web traffic classification? 



A:

From 4.3 onwards, AppRF component WebCC is enhanced to  https mode for BrightCloud (cloud DPI) query for client web traffic classification. 

 

1. Previously, IAP uses http based query to the Webroot BrightCloud server for web-content classification.

2. This is enhanced to support TLS-v1.2 based https query for URL content classification.

3. There is no change in the UI or CLI as this only a change in the way IAP talks to BCA or cloud server
