AP515 Master-beacon requiring reset

    Hello airhead family,

I'm seeing some rather strange issues with roughly 15-20% of IAP 515s on a new deployment. For whatever reason, these IAPs send out master-beacons and, despite losing the election, never give up so they never join the cluster. We've found that it is requiring a factory reset as well as swapping the AP to a different port (may be an environment issue, I have no visibility here).

Has anyone run across this? It looks like they're running 8.4 straight out of the box.

That's strange. But the recommended version for WIFI6 APs are 8.5.0.4

Very strange! Behavior is continued in 8.5.0.2.

I'm hesitant to move past since Airwave support for mPSK via Instant GUI is in 8.4 and I saw somewhere that past 8.5.0.2 loses even more features in Airwave.
