Can you convert an CAP (APIN0225) to an IAP?

    I have 3 CAPs(APIN0225) that I would like to use as IAPs if possible. Is it possible to convert a CAP to IAP? Then how do I use the apboot upgrade command? I tried this command but wasn't successful at upgrading the OS.

     

    Command used: 

    upgrade-image tftp://x.x.x.x/ArubaInstant_Centaurus_6.5.4.13_71051

    If this is an AP, then you cannot load IAP software on it.

     

    If it's an IAP, then you can easily use the factory reset to return it back to an Instant AP.

     

    From the part number, it looks like it's an AP only.

    If you have a bunch of CAPs your converting into IAPs, will you need to go around and factory reset them all individually?
