We are doing a wifi vendor re-evaluation for a public sector installation. Currently there are about 250 APs, and that will grow to 350 within the next 1 to 2 years.
Our requirements are pretty standard -
They will need to be centrally managed (no swarms of autonomous APs).
This will also need to be managed completely internally, so no cloud/subscription/managed service a la Meraki.
Our telecom guys are pushing for VoIP over wifi for cellphone and other mobile clients, so unfortunately we'll have to pretend to support QoS over wifi.
So who do you fine folks like, or at least don't hate too much?
