    Good afternoon,

    Please tell me where I can download the firmware for the access point IAP-205-US

    Download from the site HP I can not, because I have not bought technical support.

     

    The access point I bought on ebay, I just want to update the firmware for home use of the access point.

    Check Video 12 on how to upgrade the Firmware:

    You have to have WWW Access with that IAP.

     

    Downloading the Software needs a valid support contract.

    The way as shown in the Video does not need a support contract.

    Hi,

     

    IMHO: For the Aruba Instant APs you can download the "Lifetime Warranty Software" without an existing support contract...but.... according to the 'aruba warranty and support summary':

     

    the warranty extends only for as long as the original end user owns the product

    Absolutly true, no doubt!

    You have to go they way over the Instant AP and start the Firmware download from there.

    All Support Portals are password protected.

    Section - Upgrading an IAP Using Automatic Image Check

     

    Therefore the IAP has to have Internet Access.

    Thanks a lot, I downloaded the update from here - https://support.arubanetworks.com/LifetimeWarrantySoftware/tabid/121/DMXModule/661/EntryId/33556/Default.aspx automatic update at the access point for some reason does not work.
