Thanks in advance for any help.
I have an HP wireless setup that we are going to be replacing with IAP's soon. There is a single VLAN setup for the wireless that the AP's and clients are on today and will continue to be on. I had put two IAP's in months ago and they were operating fine co-existing with the HP setup.
Recently we made some changes to the network and removed one of the IAP's because it was needed elsewhere. It then came to our attention that the IAP that remained was not functioning. It will just reboot over and over again with the ethernet link never coming up. If we remove it from the network and put it on another test network at our office it comes up just fine. We have cleared the config multiple times and set it back up again from scratch but when we place it back on the production network it will not bring up the ethernet link.
Changes made to the network were moving from a /24 to a larger subnet and the IP range itself changed as well. The HP's and clients are having no issues functioning on this network after the changes.
The other change was that the HP controller died and was replaced with the same model albeit a newer firmware. I have a hunch that perhaps it has some kind of rogue detection and protection, but I can't seem to see anything like that in it's interface.
All of the PoE switches are HP's and the IAP's were fine on them before. I can see in the switch that it's delivering power to the IAP and the IAP is indeed coming on and trying to boot. It just doesn't seem to be able to bring up the ethernet connection. I have pasted the boot up output from the IAP below. This is after it was configured on the test network and then brought back onto the production network.
