I have IAP-93 can't provisioning by controller because not detected on AP Installation Menu.

But when i go to switch i can see, see on the below :

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Port : 2
    Device ID : 24 de c6 c1 60 56
    Address Type : IP
    Address : 10.23.254.229
    Platform : ArubaOS (MODEL: 93), Version 6.2.0.0-3.2.0.4 (38110)
    Capability :
    Device Port : 24 de c6 c1 60 56
    Version : ArubaOS (MODEL: 93), Version 6.2.0.0-3.2.0.4 (38110)

but on port 1, on the below :

    Port : 1
    Device ID : 24 de c6 c1 60 b7
    Address Type : IP
    Address : 10.23.254.111
    Platform : ArubaOS (MODEL: 93), Version 6.3.0.0 (38660)
    Capability :
    Device Port : 24 de c6 c1 60 b7
    Version : ArubaOS (MODEL: 93), Version 6.3.0.0 (38660)

The IP Address of IAP-92 on port 2 i still can ping and from controller i can ping too, but still not detected by controller.

This AP (IAP-93 on port 2 is my AP Backup) i'm using because the prevoius IAP-93 (same not detect on controller) i suspect problem so i change with my Backup AP.

The question why i can ping but not detect on controller when i want provisioning ?

And why the platform is different with the IAP-93 on Port 1.

    Port 1: Platform     : ArubaOS (MODEL: 93), Version 6.3.0.0 (38660)

    Port 2: Platform     : ArubaOS (MODEL: 93), Version 6.2.0.0-3.2.0.4 (38110)

    Regards,

    grivanoj

    Hi Josep,

Actually i just unplugged the AP (IAP-93) from network and do PSB (purge-save-boot) and the controller now can detect the AP. After that shown on AP Installation and do provisioning and successfull, just check tommorow morning the problem occur or not.

Thanks josep for give advice and give me the idea.
