IAP VC not reachable after some time

    Hi all,

     

    I have a strange problem.

    I have a cluster of AP 305 (ursa) and 315 (Hercules) on the same subnet on a virtual controller.

    When I restart the APs, I can reach the VC with the ip but after sometimes, I can't. I't like the VC is not on this IP. But I can still reach the APs via their IP.

    The AP are on version 8.6.0.4_74969.

     

    Can somebody help to solve this problem ?

    When this occurs, do you have an ARP entry for the VC IP address?

    No. I don't have any arp entry for VC anymore (on the gateway router).

    My problem is not resolved.
    I remove all the ap, factory reset some aps. The problem is still there.

    I'm in aruba instant 8.0.5.

    I can ping the ip of iap from the master ap but not from the gateway.

    Does the gateway have the mac address of the VC in the ARP table?

    Nevermind.  Maybe someone else can help.
