I have an AP - Model APIN-0225, SN:CT-0055539. That is not joining in the Aruba management group. The IP address is configured and is not duplicated.
I get "Internal error 8-0, please contact support" when I try to log in to the console.
Can you paste in the output?
Opened a ticket with support.
After a half hour of troubleshooting, it was obviously a hardware issue.
Now waiting for RMA.
I got this error on two different APs but was reluctant to claim they had identical HW problems - unless error 8-0 is the catch all for many kinds of errors. Can I ask what steps you took to surely determine it was a HW problem?
FYI
I upgraded an IAP 515 from version 8.4 or lower (not too sure) to version 8.5.0.5 to resolve the ssl issue. After doing that i received the error 8-0
Turns out they changed the default credentials from admin/admin to admin/serial number of the AP
