RAP managed by IAP

Hi.

 

Is it possbile for a RAP to be managed by an IAP that is on a different physical location?

If they were both operating in instant mode and on the same layer 2 domain yes. Instant clusters form over layer 2 domains and cannot cross a layer 3 boundary.

An Instant AP cannot manage a RAP. All RAPs come with Instant out of the box, so you can use it as part of an Instant cluster as long as it has L2 connectivity to the other Instant APs.
