    Hello,

I have an Aruba IAP-215.  The current use-case we have does not include a controller.  It is connected to a host PC that is managing a WLAN with a small number of clients (no internet connection required).

I know that with a controller you can setup a remote data server and have the AP periodically dump logs.

We can setup a remote logging server on the host system, but is it possible to do this using just the IAP?  If so, how?  Any documentation for this would be much appreciated.

    Thanks for your help.

The IAP can send logs to a syslog server.

What data are you looking for?

A number of things would be useful:

    1. AP Errors / Issues (Example, AP crashes or reboots without being commanded to)
    2. RF-Summary Table (show ap arm rf-summary, only need the table)
    3. Client Information (RSSI, Throughput/BW, IP/MAC Address)
    4. ARM History

There's really no easy way to gather that all automatically and send it.
AirWave would be the best solution here.
