Does anybody know if there is a procedure to manually remove a device from the Device inventory?

as a Central use, you cant delete an AP from Central. You can un-assign license to it from Central and this removes the AP from the management of Central and will be highlighted as red in the Central inventory.

There is no way to remove the device from 'Device Inventory'. If the device is unsubscribed and it is added to another Aruba Central account, the entry is removed from 'Device Inventory'.

yes just unsubscribe the device and then add it to another account.
if that does not work, please get TAC involved.
