Hi!  I use an Aruba 303H to connect to hotel wifi when traveling so that I can easily connect my apple tv to the internet.  Last few trips I've found that the AP will work for 20-30 mins and then begin having connectivity issues.  I've called the hotel support and they always ask me for the MAC address of the AP so they can whitelist it.  I've been giving them the MAC address of the VC... but that hasn't solved the problem.  How do I know which MAC address is being used for the WiFi-uplink connection?

    The 303H is running 8.6.0.2.

    Thanks

Are you doing a source NAT for anything that's using the AP also? In other words make all traffic look like its coming from the AP its self, and not a device behind it?

    Hi!,
I’m configuring the 303H in NAT mode so it’s hiding the devices attaching to it from the hotel wifi network.

OK great. The MAC address that you would want to give to them would be the Wired MAC address of the port you are using for uplink.

Hi!  I'm not using a physical connection.  I'm using WiFi-Uplink to connect to the hotel network.  What MAC address should I use in that scenario?

    Thanks

it will be MAC address of the WiFi radio of your AP-303H

Makes sense. How do I determine which radio is connecting to the hotel WiFi and how do I get its MAC address?

the Wireless MAC address should be printed at the back of the AP-303H

    Hi There!

Is there a way I can get that information from the CLI or GUI?

    Dear Niten,

    Referring to the post

    https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controllerless-Networks/WiFi-Uplink-feature-with-Instant-8-5/td-p/534619

It highlights the process. Please see the snapshot of the command, this should be the mac address of your AP which the hotel should whitelist.

    sh wifi-uplink auth

Oh my bad, I assumed it was a wired connection.
