Hello Community, we have some issues with our Windows 10 Clients (Same Clients with Windows 8 are working fine). We are using IAP-205 APs. The clients are loosing the wireless connectivity a few times per day. You cant reconnect wo the wireless network until you do a restart or reset of the wireless adapter. In the windows log files following message is prompted: "layer 2 security key exchange using user-supplied key did not generate unicast keys before timeout" Did someone had this issue with windows 10?

Hey, are you able to provide any more information on your enviroment and the configuration you have set up? If you could answer the following these might help?

    - Is the hardware in the Win8/Win10 machines exactly the same?

    - What type of SSID is this? e.g PSK, 802.1x?

    - Do you see any logs in the IAP for the client in question?

    - Was this working previously?

    - Are you running the latest Wifi NIC drivers on the Win10 machine?

Hi zalion0, thanks for your reply. - Is the hardware in the Win8/Win10 machines exactly the same? Same Hardware (HP ElitePad 1000 G2) - What type of SSID is this? e.g PSK, 802.1x? original it is a 802.1x but we tryed although with PSK (same Problem) - Do you see any logs in the IAP for the client in question? which logs did you mean? - Was this working previously? no, the windows 10 clients had this problems since start - Are you running the latest Wifi NIC drivers on the Win10 machine? Clients are using newest available driver (Broadcom 5.93.102.19)

    Hi Andre,

    1. Please share the firmware running on the IAP's.

    2. When the client loses wireless connectivity,

    a) Does the client gets disconnected from the wireless ?

    b) Does the client shows as connected & but is unable to pass any traffic?

Is the issue seen intermittently or reproducible all the time ?

Please share the SSID config along with the following outputs collected at time of issue:

    1. show ap debug mgmt-frames  <mac-address of client>

    2.  show ap debug auth-trace-buf <mac-address of client>

    3. show tech-support client <mac-address of client>

    Hi Nitesh,

we got a new driver for the wireless nic. The new driver solved the issue.
