How to recover "ampadmin" user if you have forgotten the password post Airwave version 8.2.6

If we are on 8.2.6 or above we can follow the below steps to reset the ampadmin user.
 

• Login to the VM console as the amprecovery user

username: amprecovery
Password: recovery
 

• You will see below 3 options when you login

• First use option 1 to generate the key
• Once the key is generated you can use option 2 to SCP the key to another linux box or SCP server
• Once done send the recovery.gpg file to TAC. They will decrypt and provide you with the key
• Now you can login as the ampadmin user with the decrypted password and change the password once you login
