    Is there a way to send specific syslog messages as SNMP Traps on a 2930m switch?  I thought I read it somewhere that you could but I've dug and dug and can't seem to find it.

    Hi Jim,

     

    Yes there is such option. You can send the log messages as SNMP traps to the SNMP server.

    For SNMP version 2: 

    Aruba(config)# snmp-server host [ ipv4-addr | ipv6-addr ] community name 

    none | all | not-info | critical | debug ]

    Thanks! I continued digging and actually discovered the documentation a few minutes after I posted! Tested and works.
