    Hello

I see that in the sizing guide they aruba recommends  for 750 devices 8 Cores, 48GB ram 500GB storage

But what about if the client has airwave but just got like 30 AP.   How much it will need? where can i find a document that it says how many you need if you got less than 100 devices or something like that at least or 50 devices

    Cheers

    Carlos

You can use the OVA image and deploy the server. The OVA will have the specs till 100 devices. Below is a screen shot from installation guide.

    Vishnu, thank you very much

This help me in a few deployments we got that wants airwave.

I got one case, they have around 400 devices

Thats almost  half the devices of the server sizing guide

    What about that case?

For the 500 device count i would recommend going with the sizing for 750(thats the least sizing).
Also, since its VM we need to allocate 20% more than what is recommended in guide. So, choosing 750 sizing for 500 would be good.

I could see this on the resources

    airwave.JPG

    32GB ram

    1 core?

    128GB HD?

those are the real values for this  OVF template?

I dont know too much of Vmware just a little to deploy virtual machines so have me some patience please

    Thanks

Increase number of cores to 6 and try load the machine.

Mine does not have  6 cores

what i just need to know is the requirements of the template, so i can tell the client this is what we need

    Pavan

    The requirement will be

    6 CORES

    32GB ram

    128GB HD

Is that correct Pavan? i mean for that OVF for 100  devices.

How many devices are you planning to monitor/manage using Airwave, if it is fpr 100 devices then number of cores recommended is 6 and disk space size is depend on historical retention values we set in Airwave better set to 250GB , RAM memory is more than enough.

If server is for production deployment try use Airwave ISO image to install server, OVA files is for POCs and it is optimized to monitor only 100 devices, in future if you are planning to add more devices then OVA installed server will have performances issues.

    Hello Pavan

I would like to know the recommended resources i need for 40 devices in production, the retention would be like 1 year if its possible.

I have no information of Aruba that says less than 750.   Or at least in the sizing guide it does not says.

    Can you help?

    For 40 devices.

    CPU cores 6

    RAM memory 15GB

    Disk space 200. To 250GB

Still you need to use ISO image to install production server.
