Airwave ztp aruba switch

    Hi.

     

    Im about to use airwave to do ztp on our aruba 2930f switch, it works fine, but when i enable snmpv3, and airwave tries to poll data, i get an error in the debug 

    " SNMP mSnmpCtrl:SrDoSnmp: SR_USM_UNKNOWN_ENGINE_IDS"

    i can see the snmpv3 engine id is a aruba tag and the mac address of the switch, but not a mac address i can find, can i change that? when i try im getting a "Action is ignored in user mode"

    everything else works fin but after the ztp airwave reports the switch down because of the snmp error.

     

    in the ztp template i use the variable snmpv3 engineid "%snmpv3_engineid%"

    It might be that the group is still trying to use SNMPv2 which is the default.  Check the Group -> select group -> Basic.  Make sure the setting for the device type is using SNMPv3.

    hi.

     

    the group is in snmpv3, turned it back to snmpv2c again until i figure up why there's an error.
