Any tips how to migrate Airwave & ALE to new (server) environment ?

Hi there,

currentrly we run Airwave 8.2.6 and ALE as Virtual Machines on a eSXi instance. Now they are going to be moved to other server - and both Airwave as ALE will get their own server with dedicated resources.

I want to start with clean install - but then I wan tot know:

  • ho to replace a bakcup or folders with information into new server environment / clean install to be back in business?
  • for Airwave I can understand how to do that, but what about ALE?

And how to install SSL certificates again?

Thanks in advance fro the tips!

For AirWave:

fresh install needs to be same version that the VM is currently running.  then a backup from the VM can be restored onto the new instance.  after restore, you can upgrade to latest release if desired.  SSL cert can be reinstalled from the AMPCLI menu under Security -> Add SSL cert.
