Backup Switch Config of Monitoring-Only Devices

    Hi,

     

    is there a way to automaticaly backup the config of aruba switches (2930/2530) by airwave (8.2.7) when they are in monitoring only mode?

     

    By manually clicking on "Backup Now" at config tab nothing happens:

    Configuraiton status shows unknown, have you provided telnet/ssh credentials of switch in APs/Devcies>Manage page of Airwave?

     

    Airwave need switch credentials to audit/update the configuration and also check in audit status is enabled in Group>Basic page

    Hi Pavan,

     

    thanks for your reply. The credentials are supplied (and tested). In Group->Basic "Audit Configuration on Devices" is disabled because the airwave should not push template config to the devices and they should be in monitoring only mode. The question is if there is a possiblity to just backup the configs without activate auditing.

    Default we have template mode in Airwave for IAPs, if you have added devices in montior mode and you see lock symbol in APs/Devcies>List for all IAPs then enabling audit will not push the configuraiton to devices. It will only read the configuration from the device .
