Client Diagnostic Usage Chart

    Simple question - just need to make sure I'm reading it correctly. The Usage chart when looking at a Client under Diagnostics shows In and Out traffic. I'm assuming IN means traffic destined for the device and OUT means traffic sourced from the device, is that correct?

    This is from AirWave. I'm trying to troubleshoot a device and server losing communication with each other and trying to figure out if the device continued to pass traffic on the network during the time of an outage. I see outbound traffic continue to send, but inbound stopped. Need to clarify what each is for.

    Inboud is the traffic comming to this device in question, outbound is sourced from this device
