Hi there, after a couple of changes in configuration in Instant cluster (config) using Airwave, the settings have been succesfully  set at the Instant, because SSIDs have different VLANs and passwords - on site.

But Airwave keeps saying that the configuration 4 overrides are present. So Airwave shows 'Overrides for VS : Instant xxx'

So it seems Groups settings in AMP for this Instant Cluster have not been updated / sitll th eold settings in AMP.. and if we click remove non-uplink overrides - AMP is pushing old setings back to the Instant Cluster..

How to fix this, so AMP will take over the correct current settings in the Instant Clusters?

a) Instant?

b) AirWave?

In AirWave there are two hierarchy levels, the "Group" and the individual Instant Clusters (VC).

The group concept allows you to set uniform settings across multiple VC in the same group. They are shared/inherited. If you select and configure settings at the VC-level , this is a VC-specifc setting, which is in conflict with (overrides) the higher group hierarchy.

From the screenshots you provided it seems that Airwave is telling you that you have a config at the VC-level which is not present/in conflict with the group settings above.

AMP version is 8.2.6

Instant version is 6.5.4.8-6.5.4.8_65873

This is a group for one location, and thus one VC. We config the VC cluster using Airwave, Instant Config.

So using Airwave we config the Instant. 

Now we see cluster access points are whoing SSID's , where we just deleted an SSID for example. So AMP Group Instant config has deleted an SSID, but the VC is not deleting this SSID. 

Now still we see this (see screenshot) how to interpreter the 'override' and the button 'remove non-uplink overrides'?

• where would they be deleted? On the VC or on the AMP Group Instant config? 

I would push these settings to the VC (you see in screenshot).. so please tell me what to do?

It's quite hard to get a full picture from only a few small screen snippets...

From what I can see it seems that you specifically selected the VC "instant-hcr", therefore you are not configuring at the group level but this specific VC only.

From what you write I understand you removed the SSID at the group level, though.

"remove non-uplink overrides" will basically remove the settings which were configured at the VC level ("overrides-c.jpg") and inherits whatever is configured at the group level.
